Hopstop App Review for Android

There’s no doubt about it. The Hopstop app is the best and most user-friendly navigation tool ever to get downloaded to your mobile device. We’ve already asked several friends how they use it, and even though the answers varied, the one thing all of them agreed to was this:

If you need to know how to go from one place to another in the most efficient way possible, just fire up the Hopstop app and you’ll be on your way. The app is directly connected to Hopstop.com and provides almost all of the same services that the website does.

Do you need to know which subway should you take to go from Hoboken to the Staten Island mall? Hopstop will tell you. How about traveling on foot from the Upper East Side to the Grand Central Terminal? Hopstop will be there. It’s like having a tour guide with you that tells you which street to go on, which way to turn, and how many blocks to go before you get there. It’s an awesomely useful navigation tool, bar none.

But if you’re thinking that the app only works for New York, then our apologies. We just wanted to pay a little homage to the origins of this wondrous little tool, since New York was the very first city that it was designed for. But fear not: Hopstop is already ready to go for travelers and commuters in around 70 metropolitan areas in the United States, Canada, and Europe. And of course, the list is constantly growing.

You just need to tell the app where you want to go and how are you planning to get there (taxi, subway, train, bike, or just walking). Hopstop will then give you a thorough set of directions that practically makes it impossible for anyone to get lost on their way.

And dig this: Hopstop doesn’t only give you directions, but also shares a few other tidbits of information that you might like to know. You can get an estimate of how long will the entire trip be, how many miles you’ll be traveling, and even how many calories you’ll be burning along the way.

You can save the directions in the app itself, and even share it with someone else in need of a guide, by sending the info through SMS or email. It’s available for both iOS and Android devices. All these functions and features make the Hopstop app a truly exceptional, straightforward tool for efficient traveling.
